These books have awakened something in me I didn't know was there.
And to think I REFUSED to give it a chance because of all of the hype.

anyway, i'm going to UNO now.
it's a good school. met some amazing people. but the thought of new york is still drilled in my brain.
i'll get there someday. that's a promise.
but until then, i'm living here, being with my friends, and enjoying life :D

| so this has been an incredibly hard time in my life.
turns out i'm not going to MMC.
not because i don't want to or that i chickened out. absolutely NOTHING like that. but the money. OH THE MONEY.
it's just too much. but i absolutely still adore the school. i still wear my sweatshirt, i still have my facebook group and supporting everyone there.
but i'm going to the university of new orleans. it's not manhattan, but it's still a good school. so i guess i'm excited.
and i'm still going to visit all of my friends up in new york.
and as abuela said "it's a a dream ruined. it's a dream deferred"

i mean, there's no doubt i'm going to marymount, but it's just a way of making it less expensive on me, you know?
but i'm so psyched.
hopefully i can go to ny in march to visit the school and do all of that stuff <33
